initialize active X from code..

I have a very basic question...

I am working with MFC activeX control and am using it in MFC dialog box app

I want to set initial preoperties of activeX from code...I am unable to find a proper dialog box event on which I can initilize my control...I tried onInitDialog but ActiveX apprantly doesnt exist at that time...

    It should exist note however you MUST have CDialog::OnInitDialog before you attempt anything with any window on the dialog, I suspect you had it before that line.
