Installing MPlayer on CentOS

Hello All,

I am running CentOS and would like to install MPlayer as my video player.  Can someone provide a "How To" link to get this done.

Thanks

Looks like RPMForge has mplayer available ... check out this link:

Assuming CentOS5 32-bit:

cd /usr/src
wget http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.3.6-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm
rpm -Uvh rpmforge-release-0.3.6-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm
yum install mplayer

just for clarification, for 64bit you will probably have to run it like this:
yum --disablerepo='epel' install mplayer
