FLV icon flickering in the corner

I've been handed a Flash movie that isn't working properly. There's a big "FLV" icon flickering in the upper left hand corner and while I'm assuming it means that something's not loading up properly, I'm clueless as to what, how, where and why.

I've got the fla, flv - the whole nine yards zipped up and I would love any input. You can download the file at

    problem here is:
"Flash intro.swf" is developed using AS3 FLVPlayback component, and you are trying to load an AS3 SWF into AS2 swf which will not work for sure.
you should also code your index.swf into AS3 then only you can load ""Flash intro.swf" into it.

    Accepted Solution

It seems you requirement is to sync the video playback with timeline animation.
If I am correct, then you should not use FLVPlayback component, because it will stream the video and video will not sync with timeline animation while runing on web.

    solution is,
embed the video on timeline and sync ur animation with it.
this way, all will work fine whether you run directly "Flash intro.swf" or run it through "index.swf/loader.swf"

Here I have updated the "Flash intro.swf" in flash 8 as2 version, which has embedded video on timeline and works fine.
