Dell 2950 cpu compatibility

Hey All,
                I am trying to deploy Vmware ESX server 3.01 in our organization . Currently I am evaluation the software so I only have license for standard only . I am planing to buy enterprise edition .

I have dell 2950 server for the host esx and ax150i for the storage . I have 2 quad CPU Intel Xeon L5320 @1.86 Ghz. I am going thought Vmware documents and not being know if 8 phyical CPU is supported by Vmware  . According to their compatibility list its not clear .Can anyone clear my confusion regarding this ? Will Vmware supports vmotion and 8 physical processor ?

    The Dell 2950 can only support 2 physical CPU's, VMWare licenses based on physical CPU.
    After reviewing the VM-HCL it will support the quad core cpu's  in version 3.01 and 3.02 only as long as they are 5300 series as stated in your post.
