UK Broadband Line Test API Script - Checking Availability By Postcode
Hello,
I am looking for information on how to setup a broadband deals comparison service - like the ones you might find at sites such as uSwitch. You enter a postcode and/or telephone number and the site does a database check to see if broadband is available in your area/on your line and sometimes even notes any capacity limits.
The closest thing I have found for the UK Broadband providers in the UK is http://www.samknows.com/broadband/dataoutput.php
It is an availability API, but unfortunately the access is upon request and I am having some difficulty in establishing contact with the site owner. I understand that behind this API there must be some kind of database that holds all the line information according to postcode areas.
If anyone has any ideas on how to go about accomplishing this task of setting up a broadband deals comparison service, please let me know!
Thanks.
