Thanks for taking the time to view my problem. &nbsp;The device manager can see the PCI card and says that everything is fine...I don't think it's a hardware problem...it just won't connect to the router

Hello, I have a D-Link DSL-G604T wireless adsl router which I ooriginally conntected to using a D-Link DWL-G122 USB wireless adapter. &nbsp;It has always worked with no worries but I decided to install a PCI DWL-G510 adapter. &nbsp;The problem is that the computer recognizes the adapter without problem but &nbsp;cannot connect to the router. &nbsp;However, when I plug in the USB adapter the computer immediately connects to the router and subsequently the Internet. &nbsp;Any reasons (and solutions) as to why? &nbsp;Thanks in advance for your troubles! &nbsp;I'm running Windows XP pro SP2 by the way.<br />
