can not ping three devices at the same time from a server.

Unable to ping three timeclock devices from the Timeclock server behind a switched network (2 out of three randomly can ping sometimes, never all three at the same time).  however, I can ping those same timeclocks from a laptop connected behind that same switch.  what could be the issue

Are there any firewalls involved or VLANs configured on this network?  Are the IPs being pinged on the same subnet?  Can the timeclock server ping the PC and the PC ping the timeclock?  What's the gateway for the timeclock, and is it the same for the PC?

there are vlans on this network. I can ping from a laptop connected behind the same switch to all three ip addresses. I can also ping  verious computers from that server that is having the problem with no issues.  the timeclocks are on the same subnet as both the pc and the server.  the gateway for the timeclocks are the same as the rest of the computers/servers on the network.

From the command prompt at the server try a pathping to each of the timeclock devices and post the output for each one.
