exchange help asap
i was setting my boss up on a new laptop and started teh install of outlook to exchange it pulled down his messages but on his computer he is using right now he does not see any email in his inbox how do i make it so he stil sees it I think it pulled it all down to the pst file on this computer? please help
It sounds as though you had a data file configured to deliver mail to, instead of delivering mail to the Exchange server mailbox itself. If you have deleted the profile from the laptop, then it was likely that the mail was stored in a PST within the profile, so you would have lost it. (Have a look in the recycle bin though on the laptop)
If you have a good backup then you could restore it to a recovery storage group and recover at least most of the mail from there. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824126
