Word, Outlook, typing issues
My cursor moves while I type and my typing moves to that spot in word. In Outlook it does the samething but sometimes it also will send the message before I want it to be sent. I have turned off smart cursoring but how do I fix this issue? Tell the truth anytime I type in something this happens. Any help would be greatly appreciative. Thank you in advanced.

I'm using a Dell Latitude D630 with touchpad, Vista Ultimate, Software Office 2007. I do not have an external mouse connected to the laptop. I have downloaded the drivers for the touch pad and installed them again but I still have the same issue.
First of all you should isolate if this is a hardware or software issue.
the first thing I would do is to connect an external mouse for testing purposes and see if the problem still persists.. If the problem does not appear then the issue is going to be either with your touch pad or the drivers.
Did the problem start suddenly? how long have you had the computer?
any program you recently installed that is constantly running and using the USB port? (like a printer driver, scanner or something similar)?

Thank you for your help but I was able to figure this out on my own. I re-downloaded the drivers for the touch pad and turned off the smart cursor in word and this seemed to take care of this issue.
