Comp is a Dell...

Now when I click on the VPN to connect it will show the bar to connect activating (blue color moving) but
it never connects..Also it will work sometimes and then it stops...aggravating!!

I forgot to mention that I have Zone Alarm Security Suite for Firewall and Virus protection....and Adware Pro for spyware also

Please any help is MUCH appreciated.

I don't know alot about Steganos, but it seems like an anonomysing service with VPN built in.
More than likely it's having trouble connecting to the Steganos servers.
Or the Steganos servers can't keep up. I'd contact customer support https://www.steganos.com/en/services/customer-service/

I think something like www.hidemyass.com would work just as well (If not better) as it's not software based (But it's not encrypted data).
I also think Steganos is hyping the pricacy thing abit however.
"And even your provider can view a large amount of data such as the movies and songs you have uploaded and downloaded on your legal file sharing platform."  Ummm, big as hype and incorrect.

www.hidemyass.com is a website that will anonymise your IP
When you go there click on the Yellow hide my Ass button
Then in your browser you will see another address bar with http://www.privax.us/ip-test/ in it.
type your addresses in there (Replacing http://www.privax.us/ip-test/)
and click on the surf button and browse as you normally would.
DON'T type addresses in your main browser address bar or you will navigate away from the anonymysed browsing.

It's free and it works pretty well.
