Squid configuration & forcing / replacing headers? Help with Proxy-Connection header

Posted on 2007-10-02

I have an application that is using squid proxies that I have configured. The problem is it is passing a header value that I can't accept. It sends this:

Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive

Is there anyway in squid.conf I can force this header to just say:

Connection: Keep-Alive

Basically, I don't want it to appear as if I'm behind a proxy.

I've already tried "header_access Proxy-Connection deny all" but it doesn't do anything helpful

This header is not forwarded by proxy to the web server, so you should be "safe".
