Never mind about the &quot;regsvr32 wmpdxm.ocx&quot;. But by registering the other two DLLs and possibly registering/unregistering msdxm.ocx, it may work.

Hi , first time I have seen this open discussion option,<br />
but i just wanted to add, I dont use WMP for anything other than keeping it for the same purpose, some sites require WMP. So I just disabled all the file assoc, and most of the options etc in my WMP 10 and it just sits hidden as an installed program.<br />

For some reason, IE7 now plays embedded WMP files using some sort of old mplayer2 plugin. I'm just wondering if it's possible to restore the settings to play embedded videos with the WMP11 plugin. Thank you
