ASP.Net - Customizing Windows Login Prompt

I have an internal ASP.Net application written in C#.  I would like to use Windows Authentication for the users but I do not want to use the generic login box that Windows shows.  I would like the login prompt to be a ASP.Net webpage.  Any advice on accomplishing this would be much appreciated.

You could use the Forms Authentication for logging in. And you could manually check the password against the Active directory for authentication
