How do you keep Exchange transaction logs from running out of unique numbers?

    Basically you can only do this by shutting down the database make sure that the database is shutdown cleanly using eseutil /mh databasenameand path and then moving the current log files out and restarting the database. This should allow the logs to start from the beginning again. Make sure you don't delete the logs just move them so you can always go back. Also before and after doing this complete a full backup of the Exchange data right away.
