I had to create a similar function to do this calculation too. I needed to know the time between two date fileds.<br />

However I needed to know business time (working time) so that the datediff ignored weekends, bank holidays, knows the opening and closing time of the business so that to see in hours the difference beteween two dates it only counts betweeen 0900 and 1700 on weekdays.<br />
