Putting info at end of page

Hey experts,

  I want to put a small legend (3 lines in a box), at the end of a web page; note that I need at the end of page 1 - it's being printed as A4 landscape; any idea on how to do that in html?

I would use CSS to create a footer within your body.

Your styles would look something like:

body {
width: 300px;   /* use whatever dimensions you need to fit on your paper
height: 500px;
}

#footer {
width: 300px;
height: 50px;
border: solid 1px #CCCCCC;
padding: 10px 10px;
}

Then your html would look something like:
<body>
<!-- page content -->
<div id="footer">
<!-- footer content -->
Line one<br>
Line two<br>
Line three
</div>

You'd have to make sure your body content didn't exceed the height of the page minus your footer height.

 Thanks for your helpful post! The body of the html can extend to two pages; I have no problem with that; I just need the footer to be at the bottom of page1
