What reads .xml and .email file extensions?

Windows XP Pro, Outlook Express 6.  Customer receives Email attachments with the extension .xml and .email.  What's needed to read these files?

http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_view.asp

Simplest is notepad

And Excel (and most other spreadsheets as well) can read XML no problem.  Outlook express reads .eml/.email natively.

Hello QBRad.  What a great web site, and what a lot of valuable information.  As it turned out, the two files that I received were corrupted, and nothing is going to read what I (my customer) was sent.  That's OK, 'cuz future files like this are going to be understood.  Thank you so much for turning me on to this place as it can be used for other activities as well.  Ernie.
