PDF Print Button Greyed Out

Hi All
One of your sysadmins has just left our company and he left the documentations for a rack he was responsible for in PDF format. I am trying to print it but it is grayed out...any workaround for this ?

    are you opening on the same machine on which he was creating them?
    and have you checked the security proeprties of the document, of non-printable option is not selected there?

    No he created them on his laptop and sent them to me in an email ...and yes I just checked the properties and it is not printable :S It says
    Printing Not Allowed

    Can I do anything about this ?

    nopes.....these pdfs can be unlocked for printing on the same machine on which they were created....ask him to do the necessary changes and send them again to he is the owner of the documents and you are just a viewer.

    though there are tools out there to crack the pdfs....but that should be the last resort....right? :)

    yeah well..I wont hide behind my finger I cracked them using a cracked software
