Global Catalog

Having an issue where my primary domain controller will not advertise as the Global Catalog even though it is configured as such.  An error message displays that the Global Catalog Server could not be located. The system worked fine until Dell replaced the motherboard, processors, memory and power supplies after both power supplies crashed.

The Exchange server also will not connect.

Below is a copy of the dcdiag for the domain controller.

Check the DNS setting. make sure that the DC points to itself for DNS and all clients point to the DC as the preferred DNS server.

Stop and restart the netlogon service to register the SRV records.
