My guess is, and what i would do if i was doubting what to do, is that i would connect both power cable. Since there is two cables, then they are probably both meant to be used.

my main reason for asking is that if I use both cables then I dont have enough for my second HD and I only have a 350w power suply.

ahhh I was not sure if it would damage anything. Thanks, I will just run it on one plug and if it dosn`t work I will get a splitter. Achems Razor strikes again!!!<br />

I Have a new GeForce 8600 GTS. It comes with 4 Pin Molex to 6 Pin PCI Express Video Card Power Adapter.<br />

Do I need to plug a 4pin Power cable into both connectors or will one do?<br />
