Exchange Server Activesync not working

I am unable to sync my Windows Mobile 5 device. i have set it up to sync directly with the exchange server but when i try it gives the error message "Your account in Microsoft Exchange Server does not have permission to synchronize with your current settings." Error code 0x8501000c
