Icons change in favorites and 'my computer' looks different
Hi guys
Just a couple of odd questions that Id like to get some answers too if possible. In my favorites column it gives you a list of your favorites with a little icon to the left. Why is it all mine have changed from the company logo of the site to the explorer 'e' can I get them back again, and why does it do it?
And secondly, when I go into 'my computer' the icons are now tiled. Can I put them back to how they were originally, all set up nicely separated by lines and not just a lump of icons? Why does it change like this?
Hope you can help, just so I can put things back nicely, cheers!!! x

Thx for the replies. I cant find the original layout for 'my computer', how it was when I first loaded xp onto the system. Its gone and its just tiled now. There dosent seem to be an option for the way it was originally.

in my computer open view then arange icons by choose in groups
to change the icons at the start menue if these are html icons maybe you have spyware
check for spyware first clean the machine the use system restore
1. Download HijackThis from here.
http://www.hijackthis.de/
The application comes in an archive and you will have to extract and save it in a permanent folder such as C:\HJT.
2. Run the program and click the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button.
3. Locate the file called hijackthis.log in the same folder where you saved the application and copy/paste its contents onto >>http://www.hijackthis.de/
hit analyse will take you over to the page that shows your analysed log.

Got the 'my computer' looking more like it should (But with strange letters on each header) but the 'hijackthis' I cant seem to find the do a system scan and save a log file button. I can do a system scan etc etc but there is no button there that allows me to save a log file, not that I can see anyway. Anyone help me on this one.??
right okay will have to provide a guide so you can see it,
pointless trying to type it
just look at the hijackthis page when you open it's stated pretty clearly at the top.
