Oracle Enterprise Manager does not redirect http requests

I recently installed Enterprise Manager Grid Control on Solaris 10. Found a couple of issue in the httpd_em.conf file - connections were being blocked except from localhost. I modified the conf file to allow connections from external hosts. The issue now is that the redirection doesn't seem to be working. When I try to log in using http://servername:4889/em I get the "Page cannot be displayed" error message. When I use the full (redirected) path http://servername:4889/em/console/logon/logon I get to the log in screen. When I try to log in, I get the "Page cannot be displayed" error again.
