Testing a VPN tunnel - Watchguard x550e

Trying to setup a VPN tunnel with a co-location group,  I have a Watchguard x550e running fireware v 9.0.

I think I setup the tunnel correctly on the Watchguard, but I'm not sure how to test.  the tech on the other end is asking me if the VPN is trying to connect but I do not see anything in the logs.

If the tunnel is up then you should be able to ping the IP address on the remote side.

By default in the traffic monitor you should be able to see entries starting as:

MM-header
QM-header

Please make sure that the settings are identical on both the ends; if so then the tunnel should come up. Please advice if you have done settings for manual gateway, tunnel and have added policies.

Thank you.
Forgot to mention, go to Setup->Logging in Policy Manager; click Advanced Diagnostics; change the level for VPN from default off to low/medium/high/advanced and then you should see logs in the traffic monitor and if you have configured logging then in the logs as well.

Thank you.

I changed the VPN logging to high and check box for Display diagnostic messages. I  believe the setting are the same on both sides.

Looks good so far, I'll see what error I'm receving
