When i setuo email I don;t get the Imap option, it goes directly to the pop. could it be because of the sp3
bsjld, you do not have IMAP option when you go to the account setup page? You could have a condition in your computer where you need SP3 to be installed for IMAP to work. SP3 fixes many problems.

war1,
sorry for the delay, I don't have the IMAP option at all on outlook 2000. I found the sp3 but when I attempted to install on one system I got an error saying it cannot continue for some reason. I will get the exact message and post.
In the meantime gonna try moorhouselondon: suggestion
