Hi miziri,

Access can read the following formats:
"(*.JPG,*.JPEG,*.JPE,*.GIF,*.BMP,*.DIB,*.TIF,*.TIFF,*.PNG,*.PCX,*.PCD,*.ICO,*.WMF,*.EMF,*.EPS,*.fpx)"

On the menu bar, use the icon with the tag IMAGE, don't use Bound or Unbound Object.

for the size,
right click on the image control,
in the properties,
look for "Size Mode", set it to:
Zoom, which means, any picture you load will be displayed with the correct aspect ratio,
Strech, which means, the picture will fill the image control, but will not repect the aspect ratio,
Clip, means, the picture will be shown in it's original size, but since it might be big, you can see only the part which can be displayed in the image control.

assuming your photos are saved with the RecordID number, like this
123.jpg
356.jpg

and assuming your image control on the Form is called Image1,
"On Current" of the Form you can use this code:
MyPath="C:\Temp\"
me.Image1.picture= MyPath & me.RecordID

this will make each Record show its picture.

or if you have the picture name and path are already in the Table, called PicturePath, then

"On Current" of the Form, have this:

me.Image1.picture=PicturePath

Question:
How does Access know what is the name of the picture (and it's path) it is suppose to place in the Form?
Do you have a field in the Table which has this info? what is the name of this field?

It is NOT advised to have the images embeded, it will make your mdb grow big in size and might get corrupted too.

http://www.thenelson.name/
have 2 examples,
1 for embeded, and the other for linked,
we all recommend linking your photos to the mdb.
