Please take a look at this website in IE6 only: http://www.personal-performance-agency.com/

Notice the height of my banner at the bottom.  it should sit at the same height of the olive band in the image, but for some reason in IE6 only i cant control the height of the banner.  i have tried using 2em, 86px, 10% and no matter what i do the height goes to what you see above.

Please advise

To be honest I don't know why it works; just some dodgy buggy mechanism of IE6! Most of the problems with div heights in IE6 can be fixed with overflow: hidden. I suppose it forces the browser to ignore any issues of the heights of the contents of the div. Speculation. Perhaps someone else here knows better?
