how to mount NFS directory on NetApp Filer from ESX 3.0 server

At the ESX 3.0 command line trying to mount an NFS directory located on NetApp Filer typing "mount /mnt/vmstorage". The mount works for one of three ESX servers but the other two come back with the "Connection refused" error. I created the same mount point "/mnt/vmstorage" and entry in the /etc/fstab file that the working ESX server has. Access right are OK since I'm able to add and browse the same NFS data store within Virtual Center for all three systems

What else do I need to do for the two ESX servers that cannot mount the directory with the mount command

Thank you

    Accepted Solution

Is the IP address of the client in the list of hosts allowed to mount the share. Be aware: the IP address of the vmknic is different then the IP address of the Service Console.
