Can ASP.NET and HTML co-exist?

Hi, is it possible to have a C#.NET application running at an ASP host, which presents a link which opens an HTML file?  Are there any tricks to making this work?  What kind of control can display this kind of link?

If this is possible, please explain the pitfalls if there are any?

thanks,

Absolutely.  Nothing special is needed.  From your ASPX page, just create a regular hyperlink (<a href="something.html">link</a>) to your plain HTML page.

you cannot run on a ASP host...you can have it only on .NET

you can use LINK button that is available in ASP.NET web controls...
