Double Edge Subscrition

We have 2 people in our IT department.  We have both been working on our transition from a hosted mail service to an in house Exchange 2007 with Edge server.

The Edge server was subscribed last week without my knowledge and was working fine.  I was not aware of this and when through the subscription process again.  I tried to intiate the synchronization however I keep getting the error that exchange cannot connect to the edge.

We are willing to do anything to make this work before Tuesday 9am.  Should we reinstall Winserv2003 and then Exchange Edge.  We cannot afford to have this problem down the road.

Hmmm, it definitely sounds like this problem was caused by the second synchronization. Since this is a new build and taking it offline won't affect mail flow, I would recommend a complete rebuild of the server, starting with reinstalling Windows Server 2003. Obviously putting any workaround in at this stage could cause problems further down the road, so it would be worth a rebuild.

it didn't matter that we subscribed twice the problem was with the network cable.

Thanks anyway.
