Hi, are you asking if it is officially supported by Microsoft or are you asking if it will work?  I see no reason why it wouldn't work.  You can even download ISA 2006 appliance from VMware's Virtual Appliance Marketplace if you wanted to do some initial testing outside of ESX:

No, it doesn't support it. If ypou want the supported environment, use the MS Virtual server.

Yes, it works fine on ESX
im not clear about kieth reply?

it does not support? but ISA works fine on ESX?

can u please tell me , as i have VMWARE ESX 3i Server, having EBS 2008, and forefront TMG Server. so tell me ISA - Forefront TMG Server will work on ESX 3i or not? as i think due to dual NIC requirement , it is creating mess for me!

ISA became supported when hosted on a VMware solution when Microsoft released ISA2006 SP1 - before that date no versions of ISA Server was supported on VMware although it would work.

FTMG will work on VMware assuming the host OS is 2008 64-bit.
