Hi, are you asking if it is officially supported by Microsoft or are you asking if it will work?  I see no reason why it wouldn't work.  You can even download ISA 2006 appliance from VMware's Virtual Appliance Marketplace if you wanted to do some initial testing outside of ESX:

No, it doesn't support it. If ypou want the supported environment, use the MS Virtual server.

Yes, it works fine on ESX

it does not support? but ISA works fine on ESX?

can u please tell me , as i have VMWARE ESX 3i Server, having EBS 2008, and forefront TMG Server. so tell me ISA - Forefront TMG Server will work on ESX 3i or not? as i think due to dual NIC requirement , it is creating mess for me!

ISA became supported when hosted on a VMware solution when Microsoft released ISA2006 SP1 - before that date no versions of ISA Server was supported on VMware although it would work.

FTMG will work on VMware assuming the host OS is 2008 64-bit.
