help setting up SSL Client VPN on a ASA 5510

I'm trying to configure a SSL Client VPN on a ASA 5510.  I used the wizard for both the clientless and client SSL vpn connection/profiles.  The clientless vpn works just fine, however, when connecting to the client SSL vpn I get the below error:

The SSL VPN HTTP response code received from the gateway an error, contact your network administrator

I created a self signed cert within the ASDM.  I assigned the cert to my outside interface.  The user account I'm using is assigned to the client ssl policy.  I'm not sure what else I need to do......  I'm running v8 os and the newest version of the ASDM....

Did  you install the SSL VPN client on the PC first?

I uninstalled the SSL VPN client and tried again.  I get the same error as mentioned above.
