I have a client that has had a 3rd party install SQL 2005 Express and they are now receiving the error:
Invalid Argument when trying to access the db.
On the day of the SQL upgrade (MSDE was ok) error logged:
Faulting module oleau32.dll v5.1.2600.2180.
Any idea's how we can resolve this without rollingback the SQL install?

if you have changd the PASSWORD for your windows accoun and have said "use local system account" while installing SQL Express then you probably need to go to control panel --> admin tools --> services --> select your SQL instance..right click properties and enter the new password...

before this jus check whether your SQL instance is running !!!
