W2k3 SP2 server does not see itself as a GC

I have installed W2k3 SP2 and have defined it as the DC and GC.  When I do a dcdiag it fails on all the FSMO roles.  There is only 1 server in the domain.

It does not see itself as the GC or the PDC.  I have verified that it is setup that way.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Accepted Solution

Double cleck that it is configured as a DC.
Make sure that the server points to itself as its preferred (and only) DNS server
Stop and restart the netlogon service to register the SRV records.
