I keep getting meeting requests in my outlook 2003 from one of my users even though i have not been copied in his email list. Although i did have permissions to his mailbox at one time (which has been removed) and i also had send on behalf of permissions on one of his delegates mailbox which has also been removed and I still end up meeting meeting request.

Has anyone got a fix for this?

I've seen this happen with recurring meetings. If possible, have the owner of the meeting delete and recreate the meeting request.

The owner of the request can also edit the recurring meeting invite and remove you from the distribution list.

    Accepted Solution

This was actually caused by email forwarding being on for the user that was creating the meetings. Email forwarding had been switched on to test something else, and we forgot it was left on.

apologies for the wasted time in answering this question when it was caused by a simple misconfig.
