how do you append to a .pdf file in vb6

I am trying to open a .pdf file if it already exists. If so I want to give the user a few options. Either overwrite the file with a new file. Append to the file with another file or just delete the file. I can do the over write and delete but I am not sure on how to do the append.

The following Visual Basic example shows how to append the PDF document named "c:\appendfile.pdf" to a new PDF document named "c:\test.pdf".

'specify the existing PDF file that will be appended to the new PDF document
SaveSetting "Let us do some work Systems", "Win2PDF", "PDFAppendFile", "c:\appendfile.pdf"

'set the file name for the new PDF document
SaveSetting "Let us do some work Systems", "Win2PDF", "PDFFileName", "c:\TEST.PDF"

    'output some text
    Printer.Print "hello world!"

'save the new PDF document and append to the existing PDF file
    Printer.EndDoc

Thanks b_haynes but I don't know  what you mean by "Let us do some work Systems" what should go there. I tried putting in the name of my program but it didn't work. I didn't get any error just did not create the append to file.

My bad, the code I sent you works in win2pdf.

Check out:

OR even better:
You might try browsing this site, http://www.planetpdf.com/  The community over there will know much more about what you are trying to accomplish, and they probably can help you out more than I could.  I wouldn't lose hope yet!
