I created a custom MST file to install Office2003 Professional. The MST includes the install of word, excel, powerpoint and access. I know need to add on the InfoPath application which is part of Office 2003 Pro. If I create a new MST file and only install InfoPath, it will not work. The setup doesnt care about my new MST file. It looks at the existing install and says do you want to modify it, repair or uninstall it.

dkitts, since its already installed, the only option you have at hand is through add/remove programs to avoid painstaking process of uninstalling office pro and reinstalling it with infopath. If its not a big hassle, then you can look for Microsoft Office Pro from the add/remove program and click on change, this will bring a dialog box with an option of add/remove features, click on it and then hit next, then choose infopath and click on update. Please note that you need to be logged on as an administrator to perform this on the target machine, unless your users are power users.

The answer I found and needed was to run maintwiz. It creates a separate package that can be added to the existing install and ran silently. I dont know how to close this out using my own resolution that I found so this will linger open until the admins close it.
