Block website access from the internet but not the local network.

Hello experts!

I have a ASP website running on IIS6 it is a ecomm website.  There is a administrative back end, we just launched this website and I want to block access to the admin directory to all but the local network.

Anyone have any idea how to make this happen

    Accepted Solution

    In IIS management point to Admin directory and select Action -> Properties. Select Directory security tab and click Edit under IP address restrictions. Enter the IPs allowed to connect and select deny by default. Thats about it.
