Encoded data checksum mismatch - attachment may be corrupted

Hi All,

A user having a problem to send any attachment file (*.doc,*.xls,*pdf ) to the recipient. The recipient is unable to open, view and save the attachment. The notes client will prompt the recipient an error message as "Encoded data checksum mismatch - attachment may be corrupted".
I found that below notes tech site had mention about this is caused by MTU setting.
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21204788
Therefore,i had ping the MTU on user 's pc and found that the size of the MTU is same as my pc. Besides that, the user had using other pc to send an email with attachment to the recipient. The recipient could open the attachment without any error. Which means that only that particular PC having some problem.

I had try to repair/reinstall Microsoft Office and PDF. But,still get the same issue.
Do you have any idea? Thanks in advance.

1) Reinstall the latest Notes client.

2) DO a replace design on the server of the Mail template, and check using the mail DB on the server ( not a local replica ).

I hope this helps !
