my computer autologgs off

HI
I had a virus called Autorun.inf that removed the pathways to the drives.
so i found a website that fixed this problem, but i typed in the wrong userinit pathway during the process.
Now, i am unable to log into my computer and autologs off itself.

You can always use the Windows XP CDROM which will let you repair your installation - this would likely overwrite the damaged configuration, and allow you to bootup.

in safe mode, my account seems to have a different password
The password should not change if you are using safe mode. Perhaps your caps lock key is on?

Oh i see, i do not know my administrative acount's password because this computer was from my school, and the IT technitians are the administrators
