How to disable personal views Sharepoint?

Hi experts!

I would like to know how I can block personal views editing for Sharepoint (MOSS 2007 Enterprise) users. I would like to disable personal views so that the logged in users can choose only preconfigured views that I have created as an Admin.

Thank you very much in advance for helping me.

You can edit the Permission Set in advanced permissions/people and groups, and take away the option to create views.

This is what I did but it does not work. Is this a bug maybe that was fixed in a service pack? As far as I know it is MOSS 2007 without service pack

Sometimes the permissions can be flaky, but it will work.

Create a new permission set, and assign the permissions you choose. Assign the permission set to a new group. Create a user and add to that group and test.

Ok, I will try. Maybe it is a problem as group is existing and user also. Thank you very much, I will report my experiences soon :-)

With a new group and a new permission level it seems to work for the first tests :-)
