Lotus Notes sound notifications through Citrix

Does anyone know how to get sound notifications to work in Lotus Notes via Citrix?

DO other programs sound notifications Work ?

I would think that this s an option in Citrix to do sound for a specific program or not.

Yes, every other program works fine with sounds, it's only Lotus Notes.

I haven't actually tried the following, but it may help.

My suspicion is that Notes just doesn't know where to look or does not have access to where it expects to look for the sound files.  So:

1) could try granting access to \Windows\Media
2) could try to manually update notes.ini with name of the wav file, e.g., Incoming Mail Sound=Windows XP Notify
3) could try tricking Notes into using a different folder for finding sounds.  It probably looks to the environment variables SystemRoot or windir, and appends \Media to the values there.  If you change the notes startup icon to run a script to modify the environment variables first, it may work.  OTOH, you are messaging with something pretty imporatnt, and who knows what else might get screwed up by doing so?
