Hi,

Is there a way that i can find all users that connect to there office mails from OWA. Outlook web access to check mails.
If the only iway is from EMS logons then i need to tell you that we have veritas backup and when it backup the logon names change. Is there any other way to find.Is there any script if we can get the user names alone to a file that connect from OWA.

Regards
Sharath

You can only get this from your IIS logs.  Look for GET requests for the /Exchange URL (for OWA 2003) or /OWA (for OWA 2007).  You will see the username logged a few lines later after the user has successfully logged on.

There is a tool called logparser that will make it easier

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Actually what is recorded in these logs.
Is it only OWA accesses details.
Is there logs created per day 1 file.
What should i look into to find the usernames

All of these are configurable - both the contents and the file creation period.

In IIS Manager, look at the properties of your Default Web Site.  Near to where it says 'Enable logging', click the Properties button.  Make sure that 'New log schedule' is set to whatever you prefer, then on the Advanced tab, make sure that 'User name' is enabled.
