Exchange 2007 (not sp1)

I cannot create a new distribution group in EMC because AD believes the object already exists. I have searched ADUC, which cannot find the object. I used to have an alias for 'everyone' on a particular account for testing, but i removed it. Only one Exchange server in the organization.
How do I add the everyone distribution group?

[PS] C:\>new-DistributionGroup -Name 'everyone' -Type 'Distribution' -OrganizationalUnit '' -SamAccountName 'everyone' -Alias 'everyone'
New-DistributionGroup : Active Directory operation failed on The object 'CN=everyone,DC=company,DC=com' already exists.

Everyone is a system group. It cannot be mail enabled and you cannot use it for email distribution. You will have to use another name.

Nice. I suspected that, but didn't put two and two together. Thanks Simon!
