Dictionary managed tablespaces in 10g?

Is it no longer possible to create a dictionary managed tablespace in 10g?

    yes ... if system tablespace is dictionary managed too.

    You cannot specify DICTIONARY if the SYSTEM tablespace of the database is locally managed or if you have specified the temporary_tablespace_clause.

    Great, thanks! Do you know if it's possible to alter the system tablespace to be dictionary managed if it has already been created as locally managed? Or will it need to be re-created?

    i'm affraid it mut be re-created ... whole database

    One more question for you. In order to specify Dictionary managed for the system tablespace, will I have to use my own script or is there an option using the Oracle tools?
