I am trying to create a flash document when a user mouses over an image another image will appear and fade in and when they mouse off it will fade out and disappear. I have uploaded my file here

So for example when someone rolls over the bottom left image then image 1 will apear and fade in.

That is excatly What I was looking for but question? how do I see the images in the fla file so i can change sizes?

each visible picture (symbol1, symbol2, symbol3, symbol4) is a movie clip.

open one of those movie clips from the library. there you'll see that movie clips timeline.

on the layer with the tween is where the image is. it tweens up from 0%alpha to 100% alpha and then back down to 0%.

in this example look at frame 15.

hope that clears it up

I am sorry, I tried that but when I change the image size in the movie clip the size never changes when it fades in and out. How can i change the size of the overall image that fades in and out

Got it thank you
