How to install Westell 6100 DSL Modem (w/Bellsouth) with Netgear WGR614 v6 WiFi Router ??

Hi everybody...

I'm here 'cause I have a problem with my internet, in my home I have internet with Bellsouth Company and I use a Westell 6100 Modem with an Username and a Password to access in the internet, the problem is that I have a Laptop and another computer and I would like to know how install my Netgear WGR614 v6 router with my modem, I tryed all to sincronize both but I can't use my internet when I conect it to the pc

My westell use 192.168.1.254 to access router config and my Netgear use 192.168.1.1, I tryed put my modem in Bridge, DHCP Disabled, but nothing happend.

Why you have to use username and pass to access internet with only DSL modem?
