Will be popular a box in IE6 /7 ask for user name and password ....

I am using 1.0.13 Joomla, and on the Menu, I added a link like that

But this only work with Firefox, IE6 /7 will not work ...

I am wonder, do anyone know that a way that both FF and IE 6/7 can work together like that case?

And I am using Joomla 1.0.13 to make the URL Link for the Menu

Hi explorerjimmy1979,

I'm pretty sure MS removed the ability to pass passwords through the URL starting with IE 6.  You can't do what you want to do.
adding to jason's comment:

this feature was disabled after xp sp2
it can be re-enabled via registry edits but this would not solve your problem for all visitors to the website.

Thanks asian_niceguy, I knew MS disabled it in some form...
