Frontpage 2003 - Display pure source?
Hello,
When inserting components like Hit counters frontpage generates source code like the following:
<!--webbot bot="HitCounter" i-image="0" I-ResetValue="0" B-Reset="FALSE" I-Digits="0" U-Custom -->
However, if i view the page in notepad, the above line is displayed as:
<!--webbot bot="HitCounter" i-image="0" I-ResetValue="0" I-Digits="0" U-Custom startspan --><img src="_vti_bin/fpcount.exe/ C:/Documen ts%20and%2 0Settings/ jimbo/My%2 0Documents /My%20Web% 20Sites/?P age=index. htm|Image= 0" alt="Hit Counter"><!--webbot bot="HitCounter" i-checksum="18146" endspan -->
My Question is.... Is it possible or is there some sort of 3rd party app that will allow frontpage to display the pure/true data of the source code in code view, because when users publish their pages, the hit counter inserts a slightly incorrect path in the image source from the code listed above. But generally the user needs to be able to see the correct source code, withouth frontpage shortening it.
Kind Regards
