How to set IE as default browser, not Firefox

Hi folks,

I had installed Mozilla Firefox and made it as the default browser on my system (I had selected the option that says Firefox should check to see if it is the default browser, and the first time it asked me to set it as default browser, I said yes).

Now, for some reason, my company wants me to revert back to IE 6.0 as the default browser. So what I've done is unselected that option in Firefox and selected the option in IE that says Internet Explorer should check to see if it is the default browser. However, it never seems to ask me anything and my default browser remainds Firefox. How can I change this back to IE without uninstalling Firefox?

Thanks,
Mayank.

As I mentioned, I have already checked this option - and it still does not work :-( it never prompts/ asks when I restart IE
Set Default Web Browser in Windows
http://www.pc-tools.net/files/win32/freeware/stbrws14.exe

if its xp, then right click on taskbar>properties>startmenu>customize and choose IE for Internet and apply.
My comment above was for jvuz.

stea1mic's solution rocks
SheharyaarSaahil - your comment came after this problem was already solved. But just for discussion - if I am using the Classic Start menu, then your suggestion won't work, right?
yeps, it won't work for classic start menu :)
